[ICOM] 756Pro & PSK interface

Joe, I realize the cable Buck sells is swapped out with the "normal" cable.
With the standard cable you have RTTY and PSK abilities. If you wish CW,
you must swap the cables then you have only CW ability.
I think I understand what you did - you just built a separate interface that
is used solely for CW using the 2N2222 transistor. Hmmmm, that would be
easiest to do if you have a separate COM port. I like that idea.
I would sure like to know how the GLK interface can work CW using the cable
Buck has for CW - since pin#4 and pin#7 are wired to the same transistor and
he is using pin #3 to key the RTTY, I had "assumed" he was using pin #3 to
key CW. I just can't imagine how he can - just by changing cables - get pin
#4 separate from pin #7 so pin #4 can do the CW keying.
Thanks for taking the time to discuss this with me Joe. BTW, what program
are you using for RTTY? I am using MMTTY for my program. It uses pin #4
and pin #7 as the PTT, and seems to be keying from pin #3. Does this sound
correct?
