Ken, I think that we are talking about two different
things.

The cable that Buck sells replaces the cable that
comes with the unit.  It is a either 'or' not a 'and'
conditon.

CW is keyed on DTR pin 4.  Pin 7 RTS is not used. 
There is NO PTT.  You use VOX or breaking.

My CW Keying is setup on a different comport that the
comport the rtty/psk31 interface is on.  Can't do both
on one comport.

The first Rascal I got for the TS-850 was a kit, and I
added the circuit for FSK.
The next Rascals I got was for IC-706MK2G, IC-756 and
IC-775DSP.

All 4 required me to have a seperate interface cable
for CW.

Send CW is pretty easy, all the popular programs work.
 I am using Writelog (a contest program) but have used
"CT" and others.
