Gene,

I use a duplexer. It cuts off at 30 MHz and restarts at 49 MHz. Its the 
MX-610 made by Diamond. http://www.rfparts.com/diamond/NewFor2004.pdf You 
will find it at this link.
You could always re label your coax switch. Since the HF and 6 meter 
connection is the same on the 706 it would seem the coax switch you found 
should be labeled correctly for two antennas.
