Carl: Before you throw your MFJ p/s away, try using a DC power cord as short as possible. The power cord on the Icom PS125 is less than 2 ft.long. If you don't wish to cut the supplied DC cable, a new one can be purchased from Buxcomm. You may also wish to run a couple of turns of it through a ferrite torroid core. Buxcomm has these as well.
