Same here, but I get used to that and pay not so much attention to that.
Though a test a minute ago turned the backlight just immy...
There is another thing with the display which makes me quite unhappy. This
is fading segments of the LCD, particularily related to the 2nd VFO. Almost
every time I turn it on, I can see just a part of them, randomly, and
blinking. The LCD contacts' massage recommended some time ago here on the
list did not really help so much.
It's annoying.
