[ICOM] RE: IC 775DSP display

For Elan DL9FCC: My 775 did the same thing till finally the lights went out completely. I had to send it to ICOM Canada in Vancouver to incorporate a Mod and repair a cold solder
joint (IMAGINE THAT). And I had to pay for it also, not a happy camper. However the rig works FB now, touch wood.
While I'm at it - if only Icom would have gone a bit further in the development of this Xcvr, ie separate audio output when on dual watch instead of that stupid balance control.
When on dual watch I never know which VFO is talking to me - and there is more ----.!!!
Otherwise the basis for a fine radio. 73 de Cal.
