[ICOM] IC-718 in CW Mode

He is 100 years old, and he is one of the finest CW operators I've ever
worked - he is a master on the bug.

I bet he has the radio in MOX configuration: Manual Operated Xmit. It is
waiting for him to throw the send receive switch, like on my IC-756PRO. If
I turn off VOX and BREAK-IN, I am in MOX and to send CW, I have to throw the
transmit switch (under the power switch).

I don't have a '718, I'll bet he has to find the button for QSK.

Also he was running a kW amplifier during his morning 7020 kHz
transcontinental rag chew net, so perhaps you can help him to hook that in
too.

Give him my best - tell him I was the guy who wrote to him with a old
fashioned fountain pen that looked like John Hancock's writing two years ago
before Bus, K4IX passed away.
