I guess I should have specified that the frequencies have been in the 2.2,
3.2, 4.1, 5.2, 6.9, 7.4 and 9.6 MHz areas, so it is close enough to ham
bands that I suspect the results would be much the same.

Yes - we know this is not as good as a dedicated dipole.  OTOH, it covers
most everything, and good enough.
