Put in a morse code key - or if you don't have one, put in a shorted phone
plug and see if the problem is because it is on RTTY or if the problem is on
CW and RTTY.
Also you can whistle on SSB and see if the power goes up over 50 watts - it
should hit 80 watts on SSB.
