One of mine had a voltage regulator failure.
Maybe you can use a MA meter and see if their
is any current going up the 13v wire.  The
AH-4 won't start unless it gets a handshake
via the "Start" and "Key" leads.  ICOM did
repair it at not much expense.  No waranty.
The regulator is a silver-colored can about
3/4 cm wide and tall.  Located near where
the wires come in.
