[ICOM] Serial command for the IC-746 and IC-746PRO attenuator

The documentation for the 746 and 746PRO attenuator command is not very
clear.  The 746PRO says send 0x11 0x01  to turn on the attenuator.  The 746
says send 0x11 0x20 to turn on the attenuator.  Are these the correct
values?  I am suspicious the the doc is wrong for the 746PRO.  Does anyone
know for sure what these command values should be?
