[ICOM] New Pro III

I have decided to wait for the new Pro IV, which I understand, will be 
released on April 1st of 2005.  According to Icom, it will be a 
significant improvement over the original Pro, Pro II, and Pro III 
models. The new model will have three (3) complete and separate 
receivers for simultaneously working two (2) DX stations at once.  A 
Digital/Analog switch on the front panel will allow you to switch 
between all analog-crystal filtering or all-digital DSP filtering, 
allowing an alternate choice for those who prefer the "warmer" sound of 
the analog crystal filters.   The new Pro IV will also have the option 
of different colored cases and front panels available.  Just looking at 
the brochure I have received, I like the taupe case with the winter 
green front panel, accented with lime-green knobs and buttons.  I have 
already placed my deposit and will post digital pictures of my new rig 
as soon as I receive it.  I hope I get it before the all-new Pro V is 
released.
