Mort, I've had a couple of M700's (not the pro) and
they operated on the ham bands without a hitch. Just
go one click past the marked USB position on the switch
for LSB. Enter the freqs directly with the keypad. The
M700Pro, *if the version 02*, will also transmit
and receive on the ham bands with no modifications,
according to Icom. How to tell if it is version 2, I dunno.
