Looks like you start the scan in VFO mode, then while its scanning you
press the band button momentarily to cycle through full band or P1 to P5 to
select which pair of programmed scan " channels " you desire to scan. Once
you press the band button lets say a few times and stop at P3 then the 207H
should be scanning between what you programmed into 3A and 3b. remember
there has to be a difference in frequency between 3A and 3b or the 207H
will not scan. Page 39 of the 207H manual tells how to operate the
programmed scan.
