That's right; therefore I use the BP-197 with three 2300 mAh Ni-MH
batteries. Very good solution!
There are a lot of other HT's who are very good as well, however the main
reason why I have two IC-T81E is that they have 23 cms onboard which is very
useful to me. Most of the other HT's don't have this band.
