[ICOM] Need Advice About IC-7800 (To buy or not to buy)

Hi Ron,

Or, you can wait until the IC-756Pro3 becomes available and is past the ARRL
Lab test suite, and buy it for under $3000, plus a PW1 for around $4500, and
still have something left over for the antenna of your choice and HOA
"consideration" (if required).

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Why buy the 7800 for $10K+ ??? ... when for the same money you can buy THREE
756ProII's, a SteppIR 3L Yagi, and probably have enough $ left over to go on
a mini-DXpedition. Ask yourself... is a 7800 worth FIVE 756ProII's??

Food for thought.... 73 and good luck with the decision...

  No brainer.....buy the 7800.

I can't afford it (at the present) but in the past, I have bought both the
756PRO and the 706g when they first came out, in Akihabra, Japan.
I have NEVER regreted these purchases.
Remember, you never really own anything (!). You are just the temporary
user
of the item, umtil it passes to the next owner.
As a Cancer survivor, I can tell you: "you can't take it with you" , so
enjoy
  now....

  regards,

  ron
