[ICOM] Need Advice About IC-7800 (To buy or not to buy)

MORE food for thought:

For the price of a 7800 ($10,800 ??), you can buy a complete 2 - radio set-up, including the best 3L yagi available....

TWO 767ProII's @$2200 = $4400
ONE PW-1 KW Amp = $4500
One SteppIR 3L Yagi =$1200
and have $700 left to cover shipping, coax, SO2R switches, etc etc, etc

I know what MY decision would be... DEFINITELY a no-brainer.

Cheers! Jerry K3BZ

  No brainer.....buy the 7800.

I can't afford it (at the present) but in the past, I have bought both the
756PRO and the 706g when they first came out, in Akihabra, Japan.
I have NEVER regreted these purchases.
Remember, you never really own anything (!). You are just the temporary user
of the item, umtil it passes to the next owner.
As a Cancer survivor, I can tell you: "you can't take it with you" , so enjoy
  now....
