Yes but the 2KL uses 40 or 48 volts at some 20 amps of current. If the
transformer is good and it does not power up, I think it needs to be
attached to the 2KL or jumped as you suggest, then it would probably be a
good purchase at that price. Its a linear supply, not to much to go wrong
with it.
I don't see many 40 or 48 volt, 20 amp supplies on the market.
