When I turn my RF power all the way back,
it shows between 4 1/2 and 5 watts output.
I believe there is a control under the cover to further reduce this.

Subject: [Icom] Modifying an IC-751A for QRP?

Hi!

Does anyone on the list know of a modification to allow QRP operation with
an IC-751A ? On my IC-730, all I had to do was turn a pot under the cover
to extend the range on the low end. Is there a similar mod with the IC-751A
or do I have to attach an "attenuator" to the ALC input?
