Hi, Joe and Clif:
I asked this very question about 6 months ago, and got no help. Mine's
doing exactly what yours is. I thought the "warranty timer" had run out! It
looks as though Clif at Avvid has seen this before? I wonder what may have
caused this failure? I don't operate 6M very often, but I sure want
EVERTHING on my (practically) brand-new radio to work! I'd sure hate to be
without my ProII for long, but I don't think I feel too confident poking
around in the surface-mount ocean that is the modern HF rig myself! ;-> If
the bands don't come back around soon, you may find my radio on your dock,
Clif! Thanks for the info.

Hello All.
=20
I am having trouble with my Pro II on 6 meters. With the antenna tuner =
off and transmitting in any mode at any power level (even zero) as soon =
as I speak into the mic I get an oscillation that is full power out! =
Although I don=92t keep the radio keyed for more than one second, I=92m =
sure it continues to product full output. Also, during oscillation the =
power knob does nothing.
=20
My antenna swr is flat (1:1 at 50.125) and experience the same issue =
using a 50 ohm dummy load. I=92ve tried a reset but it yielded nothing.
=20
If the antenna tuner is on there are no issues and no oscillation on =
6-meter. Also, on the HF bands there are no issues whatsoever=85 just on =
6-meters.
=20
Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
