Subject: [Icom] UPS Breakage Reimbursement

> UPS was hit by a major scam over the last couple of years. People would
send their broken, old computers to an address, claim they had been damaged
and demand full restitution, which UPS did originally. After seeing the
claims skyrocket they began tracking serial numbers and found one fellow
sent the SAME computer 8 times, claiming a new one each time. They blew the
whistle and are very leery about reimbursement on electronics even if the
item is insured. My source for this is a UPS fraud investigator so I assume
it is accurate.
