[Icom] R7000

I picked up (non commercial source) an R7000 in beautiful condition except
for no audio.  I do have an INSTRUCTION MANUAL but no real docs on the rig
itself.  I saw some FAQ's that might be suggesting that there could be some
PLL lockup or something cured by replacing some caps, etc. etc. but I don't
know how that would work, etc. etc.  Icom America doesn't list any service
shops and they haven't responded to a query -- does everything have to go
back to I.A. for repairs?  I'm in the D.C. area and would hate to think it
would have to go all the way to the West coast for what is probably a simple
fix.  Any advice?
