Abe,

The following website has a mod to open up the 775DSPs transmit range:

However, I am not sure that it may apply to radios made for different
countries (depends upon the country's laws).

Go to the above website, click the Icom button near the top, then click the
green IC-775 button.

This rig is the IC775DSP MK11 bought new here in Australia.  I did do the
master reset but it still does not work.
