This rig is the IC775DSP MK11 bought new here in Australia.  I did do =
the master reset but it still does not work.

It will depend on where you obtain this rig.  For domestic models in =
Japan,
the firmware will restrict the TX range of the rig.  To open up the
frequency range, it may involve in changing an IC in the logic unit.  I
learn this from my IC970D but do not know whether this applies to your =
case.
