You'll have to wait any way. The IC-7800 is not even close to being in
production yet. Icom, like many manufacturers, show off their "upcoming"
models at Dayton. It will probably be close to a year (or more) before the
new rig is available for sale.

Besides, there's always the long wait for FCC type acceptance, as well. It
would also be nice, since this is undoubtedly going to be a very expensive
radio, if it included the soon-to-be authorized 5 MHz channels. But, don't
hold your breath on that one.
