Hi Sean --
It's certainly not a Camary but you might  take a look at the way I 
installed my IC-706MKII in my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck.  I 
worried over penetrating that firewall for quite a while but came up with 
a different plan which worked well for the installation and has continued 
to work well and I did not have to go through that firewall.  That
