I've had very good luck with my IC-775 and sometimes feel guilty that I
prefer it to my IC-756-pro. I have a friend who has had several over the
years and no problems. Recently he picked one up that had been hit by
lightning. Icom returned it as not being worth repair. An independent
service man brought it back to life and economically as well.

I would recommend the 775 to anyone as well as the 756-pro and pro II.
