Thanks to all for your answers. I will look at the service manuals to see
how to adjust the reflectometer and using a Bird 43 (that I will try to
borrow one) to get the accurate values.
My configuration was: autotuner disabled. IC756 PA ->> IC756 swr METER->>
YAESU FC902 TUNER/SWR METER ->> DAIWA CN101 ->> ANTENNA.
In fact the FC902 values were different from CN101. When FC902 says 3:1,
CN101 says 1.7:1 (and 756 SWR meter 1:5:1). The idea here is to be sure
about the reflected wave that could damage IC756 finals and obviously if
SWR is quite low (under 1,5:1) try not to use the autotuner (I realized
that the output power was reduced in about 5-10% when Autotuner was enabled).
