[Icom] IC-775DSP and CI-V Question

The CI-V interface only translates the RS-232 (+12/-12) signals to/from a=20
state (TTL) which is compatible with the Icom equipment.
To actually key the rig - assuming you mean to toggle it between transmit &=
=20
receive - you'll need to build an additional, simple interface which=20
connects to the PC serial port and does the actual keying. This interface=20
can be as simple as a NPN transistor, a resistor & a diode. Which pin on=20
the RS-232 connector is dependent on the software.
