Greetings all -
I have a home brew version of the CI-V interface (kudos to KD6UU's web =
page)
and it works great, EXCEPT... I am unable to key the rig with it. Other
functions that I need/use (frequency, split, dual VFO, etc.) work great.
I've tried the MixW PSK-31 software and it won't put the '775 into =
transmit
mode when using the CAT interface. I downloaded a program called CI-V
Commander, and it does not key the radio when told to, either. I can go =
to
transmit mode manually or via the Accessory #1 jack in the back, but =
that
isn't my desire - I need to do it via CAT. I'm beginning to think that
perhaps the IC-775DSP was not designed to accept the CI-V command code =
to
key the rig into and out of transmit mode...?
Anyone out there that has either done this, or has information about the
'775's capability to accept these codes?
Thanks, Jim!
