[Icom] PCR 1000 Questions

Received my PCR-1000 last Friday and it came with a serial cable, also no
problems with Bonito software, however it did not come with the audio cable
to connect the PCR-1000 to the sound card.

I've been looking for the 6146's as well no luck as yet.

Hi Gang,

Well, I made another giant leap into the digital age with a Icom PCR 1000
receiver.

I have some questions about it's operation.

This one has the Bonito software with it but it did not have the connection
cable from the 1000 to the PC. Icom told me that it was a standard 9 pin RS
232 cable so I got one from office Depot today.

The software gets an error and says it cannot find the receiver. I removed
and reinstalled about 6 times and the same thing.

I DL the Icom software from their site set the software to Com 2 and it
works.

The software that came with it still will not.

Anyone run into this before?

Since it does not use 6146's I am kinda lost..
