[Icom] Possible Trade?

Since acquiring my 756PRO2 in November of last year, my original PRO has sat
by its side affording glorious stereo-PRO performance. Quite a neat sight
since in external appearance they are almost identical.
However, the fact of the matter is that I am using the PRO less and less as
time goes on and probably need to move it along.
One possibility, if anyone is interested, would be an even-up trade of the
PRO for a 746PRO. The PRO offers several features and capabilities beyond
those of the 746PRO, including the color Spectrum Scope, Dual Watch, etc.
Adam Farson's and Matt Erickson's websites are good sources of info on these
two radios and their differences. Included, of course, would be all normal
factory accessories (power cable, hand mic, and Service Manual CD). Shipment
will be in the original factory packing, but double boxed for added
protection.
My PRO is Serial No. 02121, purchased 9/5/2000 (birthday gift!) from Texas
Towers. It was in daily use from that time until November 2002 when I got
the PRO2. It has still seen occasional use for various purposes since then.
During that time
1. not a single feature has failed to work to spec
2. the covers have never been removed
3. as far as I know, the radio is still working in the same condition as
when it left the factory.
4. it has never been abused with improper loading or overdriving or the
like.
5. fully 90% of the time, the output has been 5 watts CW for QRP operations.
The only thing wrong with the radio is that the internal battery that keeps
the clock running is getting weak and the clock doesn't keep accurate time.
I have the replacement battery and will ship it along with the radio so the
new owner can have the pleasure of removing the cover for the first time.
So, if anyone with a comparable like-new 746PRO would like to experience the
756PRO for the cost of shipping their radio to 75069, let's talk. I figure
that each would pack, insure and ship his own radio for an even swap.
Or, if anyone is interested in purchasing probably one of the cleanest and
best kept 756PRO radios in the country at a reasonable price, make me an
offer and let's talk.
"Mint" does not begin to describe the cosmetic and electrical condition of
this radio.
Pardon all the list cross-posting but I wanted to reach all possible
interested parties.
I can be reached by email, which I check several times daily, or at
972-562-1275.

I have read most of the reviews on Eham on the dual band IC-2720H - several
of them mention the susceptibility to intermod. I noticed this also, pagers
and marine band traffic being heard that I don't hear on any other radios
that I have.
I resolved my intermod problem by following advice left on Eham by adding
the PAR Electronics filter.
Question is: Has anyone checked with Icom on this? The filter works well,
but I would think that it should not be necessary. I called Icom myself
today, but ended up on perpetual hold - I'll try again unless someone has
already traveled this path!
