Yes, there is a Boo-Boo here, but I don't know yet
where it is. The military and other government
agencies in the 5 to 6 MHz band are authorized
emission 3K00J3E which is 3 KHZ centered on the
"authorized" frequency, (called the "window"
frequency in the manuals), and the USB carrier goes
1.5 KHZ below the center frequency. Now, here
the amateurs are authorized 2.8 KHz centered on the
authorized frequency. So, in order to center the
"necessary bandwidth" on the authorized center
frequency we will need to use a USB suppressed
carrier on some frequency that's not the lower
edge of the 2.8 KHz channel. That may not be a
concern to the FCC because they don't regulate
what we don't radiate. BS. Anytime they assign
single channels they better follow the rules they
establish for business and the the government
