$7.50 or so in parts for a longer cord to modify a power supply that came
free in the first place--not a bad deal. Even as a self-admitted "appliance
operator", I think I could handle that. ;-)

| Charlie,
| I agree with you. I have better uses for the deskspace occuppied by the
| loaf-of-bread sized power supply, quiet or not!
| I checked with Icom and here's the response I received: We sell the
| connectors and the pins through our parts department. The
| connector for the "chassis" side is: 93602666 and the "cable" side is:
| 93606287. The pins are sold "each" and they are as follows: "chassis"
| side is: 93602725 and the "cable" side is: 93602726. You can contact
| the parts department at: [email protected]. Hope this will help.

| So . . . I called their parts department and learned all the items are
| in stock but that the part numbers have changed. Here's the information
| I received from Ellen at Icom parts:
| "Chassis" side connector was 93602666 and changed to 6510003780, $1.74.
| "Cable" side connector was 93606287 and changed to 6510003770, $1.20.
| "Chassis" connector pin was 93602725 and changed to 6510007650, 20 cents.
| "Cable" connector pin was 93602726 and changed to 6510003790, 27 cents.
| There's a $4.00 shipping and handling charge.
| Hope this helps.
