[Icom] Random wire and counterpoise and ICOM AH4 automatic antenna tuner

Hello All,

I am presently using a 70 foot random wire and a 73.5 foot counterpoise
with my AH4 Tuner.

Although it tunes and works quite well on all bands I find that it's a
tad deaf on 75/80 meters.

I have some wire underground ( inside plastic pipe ) that is 140 feet
+/- long that was once used to control a C band satellite dish.

I'm thinking of increasing the length of my random wire to 135-140 feet
and using the underground wire as a counterpoise.

I would appreciate any and all thoughts or suggestions that any of you
might like to offer.'
