[Icom] ALC line with 756 PRO II

Thanks for the info Adam.  I don't have a solid state amplifier and I wonder
if driving the ALC just into the ALC zone on the 756 PRO II will be OK?  I
hate to hook up the ALC line as it constantly requires adjusting and also
causes the radio to go to zero output if the amp is off?????

I have inputs from a lot of folks who say they don't use that ALC line but
you sure have to be careful about overdriving the amp.
