Why would ICOM have to drop the 70cm band in IC-706PRO?
Having that band opens a lot of possibilities - like the remote control that
the Kenwood TS-2000 offers. You can remote control the TS-2000 from a
walkie talkie or mobile rig as it has two independant receivers and uses the
70cm band - which is legal for remote control.
