Many thanks for your very extended and interesting remarks!

Yes, I like the look of the ProLine (Goldline Pro and Presentation Goldline)
too. They will match excellent to my brass paddles, hi!

As you, I am always very careful when I use the compressor. It is just what
you wrote: the right way to adjust the compressor is like it sounds if you
don't use compression! The excellent display of the ProII (and 7400) is very
helpful with this, so is the EQ.

I'm convinced (not confused at all) and buy myself (or let my XYL do it,
hi!) a Heil ProLine.
