[Icom] Get with it Icom!

Dunno. I have an IC-W32A. The only three improvements I have made to mine
is A. Add a better antenna. B. Get the AA-battery pack and populate it with
1800ma NiMH. 3. add the HM-75 mic. The battery pack gives me ~2.5 watts
out, and at 1800 ma, long life. The better antenna gives me better range,
and the HM-75 allows me to control it while the radio is hung from my
backpack. If I have one flaw, it is that on particularly difficult trails,
I sometimes forget to pop the mic once an hour and it will auto-shut off. I
guess I should disable that feature.

Your feelings don't seem to fit my situation. I am totally satisfied with
the W-32A.

Hiking in the Franklin Mountain State Park almost any weekend I am not at a
gun match.
