[Icom] Re: Icom R-9000 Problem

I have an Icom R-9000 that suddenly stopped receiving. After doing some
checks I have found the following:
VCOs A & B are working OK, there is no VCO unlock problem. The green Receive
LED is ON.
The radio receives in ALL bands, HF, VHF, UHF but is completely out of
sensibility, I have to apply a -40 dBm signal to barely hear it, so I
suspect that it is not a problem with the RF units.
I wonder if it is something in the IF board, I have checked all voltages and
are OK, the panel and scope are working OK, and the pannel beep sounds real
loud...
Does anybody can give me a hint? Really appreciate it because it is really
difficult to send it to a repair center in USA fom my country, so I have to
repair it myself.
