[Icom] Icom 3SAT question

Just picked up an Icom 3SAT to use on 220.  Looks like
a great little HT.  The manual, and some eham.net
reviews, talk about an internal battery.  The manual
is not very clear on where it is, what it's voltage
and current are, power output with it, etc.  I am
trying to charge it up right now to see how it works. 
Any information about this internal battery will be
welcomed.
