Sorry but I don't buy this one as you do NOT NEED any form of antenna tuner
to transmit into a 50 ohm dummy load! Try and get out of this one now!
There are far too many hams out there who have insisted that it is their god
given right to have their transceivers modified so that they are general
coverage transmit. You should remember or realize that most hf ham
transceivers have band pass filters that are made specifically for the ham
bands which were allowed at the time of manufacture. For instance with the
proposed new hf band around  5 mhz will or has most likely had a lot of hams
yearning to do the general coverage mode to the hf ham rigs. Unfortunately,
most of these transceivers which do not a proper band pass/or low pass
filter to cover that part of the hf spectrum will be "out of acceptable
tolerances" with harmonics, etc.  73's from  Fern
