Duane,

There is no RF gain knob.  You can use the attenuator push button switches
to reduce the RF gain.  The lower row of push buttons on the left side of
the receiver contain these two attenuator buttons.  The third button from
the left is 10 db and the fourth button from the left is 20 db. You can push
both for a total of 30 db attenuation.
