Hello OM's:
I totally disconnected everything from the radio and was retrieving the
original box and packing material, when I got an email about trying to
restart with no connections at all except a dummy load.and power connection.
When I turned the radio on, it worked like it was supposed to, so I started
re-connecting cables back to the radio and everything still worked fine. I
turned the radio off and back on and it continues to work fine. I am totally
puzzled what could have caused this. Since my warranty runs out on 1/18 I am
going to leave that radio on continuously for the next few days to make sure
there is no reoccurrence.
Thanks to all who responded to me, I will be anxiously waiting for the radio
not to fail again. Now, where is that backup rig (706)?
Roland, WA5CHX
