Roland, you might check out Avvid in Irving, TX. Clif is factory authorized
for Icom and Kenwood, and that is where I send anything that needs fixed. He
just fixed my 746 (display problem) and I think turn around is about 4-5
weeks now. I'm sure there are other good repair centers, but I've had good
