[Icom] Icom V8 vs Yaesu VX150

Just resently I had to select between these fine radios.
One plus for the IC-V8 is the BNC antenna connector instead of the
SMA that the VX-150 offers.
The IC-V8 has a nice drip proof speaker gril, if you like outdoor
ruggedness, the color I was not too crazy about.
The VX-150 has the display nicely placed on top of the case which is
good when using on a motorcycle, but when cliped on your belt a
little hard too read upsidedown.
Finally I selected the Alinco DJ-193 because it offered practicly
all the options of the above radios (minus a little memory space and
a dtmf keyboard) that sold for almost half the price of the VX-150.
If the IC-V8 had an external power jack, I would most probably have
spend the extra cash to purchased it instead of the Alinco...
This radio now is used as a motorcycle mobile radio, 5.5 watts and
incredible audio...
