No problem, just hook up the PW-1, exciter and the cable to the computer  on
the CT-17, they will work fine together, make sure all baud rates are the
same, ie 9600 here.
The 10 meter mods can be found on www.mods.dk  along with a schematic and
board layout for the PW-1, make sure you remove the correct diode as the
layout is very close and the schematic is for the earlier PW-1 which has one
extra diode shown on the board layout, so be careful when looking at your
board layout...
I have the PW-1 in a closet by the radio shack and no problems at all, I use
only one cable to the Pro.
