Hello folks,

I just got my PW-1 and plan to install it this weekend.  However, I have
a few questions.

The manual has a warning against hooking up the Exciter (PRO II in my
case),  PW1, and computer via the CT-17 level converter.  They specify
direct connection between the ProII and PW-1.  Well, has anyone tried
using this combo with a computer.  I have the Pro II hooked up to the
computer and controlled by the DX4WIN logging program, and I hate to
give up this feature when hooking up the PW-1.

Is there an advantage of hooking up the Pro II to the PW-1 using 2
coaxes (coax 1 and 2) vs. just using one (coax 1)?

I'm installing the PW-1 in the shack closet, and remoting it with the
remote controller.  Any DOs and DONTs I should be aware of here.

I need to do the mod to open up the 10M/12M bands.  Anyone has a
detailed and clear instructions on how to do this.  Also , and any DOs
and DONTs I should be aware of here.

Any other hints before I start this project over the weekend.
