[Icom] r7000 ci-v troubleshooting

Hello,

I've been trying to get my ci-v port to work with the Deltacomm
software and Scan*star's software with no success.

After many failed attempts occasionally the Deltacomm will see the
interface *and* the radio, but will not fully complete the supplied
diags.  After testing to see if squelch will open or close it next
wants to check all the memory locations.  It never completes that
task. 

I have built all the rs232 interfaces that I could find with no
success.

What kind of signal should I expect on the ci-v line?  Where else
could I be messing it up at?
