A very good idea! I've mentioned it here for menu type rigs and the same
goes for front adjustable power controls. When running a amp go for the
fail-safe, don't rely on remembering to turn the drive down. Your manual
should have a pic of the power adjustments  inside. http://www.mods.dk/
This site has the service manual for download if you don't have a pic in
